[10:19:45] aurora: I'm assuming |"you"| is the number of people referenced by "you".
[10:20:08] feep: cardinality, yeah
[10:20:26] aurora: lol @ set theory applied to pronouns. (=
[10:20:30] feep: :D
[10:21:16] ShayGuy: As opposed to the absolute value?
[10:22:15] aurora: Shay: It's hard to imagine a negative number of people, so absolute value of a pronoun is pretty meaningless.

<LucidFox> - Also in Doctor Who, the Harry Potter books exist and have been made into movies. The person playing Barty Crouch Jr. has not been revealed though.
<LucidFox> - The Doctor does have a Hogwarts uniform in his cupboard. Perhaps it's him, acting under the assumed name "David Tennant".
<LucidFox> To the fanfic-mobile!
<TrakNar> XD
<TrakNar> Nananananananananana FAN-ON!
Notes: Fanfic- Because there is no limit to the kinds of stupid crap fans can come up with.

<LucidFox> "And it's an old question in Legion Of Super Heroes fandom whether Triplicate Girl sleeping with herselves would be incest or masturbation..."
<Culator|Meh> The answer is "yes".

<LucidFox> 'In the Doctor Who story "Revenge of the Cybermen", the Doctor refers to Jupiter having 13 moons, when after 1974 many more were discovered. One of the novels attempts to Hand Wave this by saying that in the future the extra ones were destroyed as part of an effort to feng shui the Solar System in order to attract foreign investment.'
<LucidFox> Gosh, Doctor Who is one huge example of "better than it sounds".

This player unimaginively named the character after himself- Evan- on the first playthrough, with no knowledge of the plot. Needless to say, the stunning revelation lost some of it's punch... instead, it simply made the jedi council look disturbingly incompetant in picking codenames.

If Western fiction used the same style of titling, we'd probably have "Battle in the Cloud City! Luke's Father Revealed!" in place of "The Empire Strikes Back". Bonus points if the title did the revealing.

[04:33] <+LucidFox> #31 apparently confirmed that he's not Rohlan.
[04:33] <@LordHydronium> It pretty much beat us over the head with it.
[04:34] <@Darth_Culator> And it leads one to wonder what species Demagol is.
[04:34] <+LucidFox> But the thing is, it's hard for Zayne's words "the Rohlan I know" to echo when Zayne and K have travelled with Rohmagol for much longer time than Rohlan.
[04:35] <@Darth_Culator> "The gambit has FAILED, human!"
[04:35] <+LucidFox> Indeed. That was it for me.
[04:35] <@Darth_Culator> "Human? Then what the hell are you?"
[04:35] <@Darth_Culator> "Um, never mind."
Notes: Because Rohlan is clearly not Demagol.

[08:52] <@Darth_Culator> On a bit of a tangent, I think it's hilarious that Ellis says Spiker might have a learning disability.
[08:53] <@Darth_Culator> He's what Thrawn would have been if he was a retard!
[08:53] <@The4dotelipsis> Thrawn wasn't a retard?
[08:53] <@The4dotelipsis> Listen to him in TIE Fighter. Trip makes a good point.
[08:53] <@The4dotelipsis> It's like he's been hit over the head with an...inflatable forklift or something.
[08:54] <@Gonk|Busy> THIS Rebel stronghold has no HOPE of escape.
[08:54] <@Darth_Culator> Maybe the Chiss exiled him like the Romans used to leave deformed babies on a hillside.
[08:54] <@Graestan> In the city, it was one hill in particular. Then feral dogs came and ate the babies.
[08:55] * @Darth_Culator wonders if Baldarek is also retarded. This might be evidence of a major Chiss cultural phenomenon.
[08:55] <@Graestan> It's so much easier to stomach the Romans if you think of them as an alien culture.
[08:55] <@Darth_Culator> It really works if you make the connections.
[08:55] <@The4dotelipsis> The Romans had some good ideas.
[08:55] <@Darth_Culator> Chiss = Romans. Baldarek and Spiker = retarded babies left on a hill... in SPACE!

<LucidFox> How can she even hope for _any_ shooting accuracy with the way she's holding these guns?
<Roland> Haha
<Roland> I'd be more worried about "Why is she not wearing her full battlesuit?
